Sir Oluseye David Awojobi, PhD, FCIB, KJW (Chairman):
Dr. Seye is currently the Chairman Board of Directors, Brent Mortgage Bank Nigeria Limited and also The Chief Executive Officer of Minerva Academy for Leadership and Ethics Ltd/Gte.
He was the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). He holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration with specialisation in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from Babcock University, Ilisan-Remo;
He also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration with specialisation in Marketing and a first degree in Banking and Finance (Second Class Upper) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. He qualified as an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria in 1990 and was elected a Fellow of same Institute in 2008. He is a life member of the prestigious Institute of Directors (IoD); Associate Member, Institute of Chartered Mediators & Conciliators; Associate member, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
Dr. Seye began his banking career in January 1986 with the defunct National Bank of Nigeria Ltd. He had a brief stint with Afribank Nigeria Plc while on National Youth Service and later joined the People’s Bank of Nigeria (now Bank of Agriculture) as the Manager in charge of People’s Emergency Deposit Scheme (PEDS) in 1992.
After a decade of meritorious service in the mainstream banking covering commercial, development and mortgage banks, he proceeded to join the services of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Lagos Branch in 1996 as Administrative Manager till December 1999. He later moved his service to the National Secretariat of the Institute in January 2000 as an Assistant Manager in the Consultancy, Training and Research Directorate of the Institute where he brought to fore his experience and background as a qualified educationist (N.C.E 1985) and professional banker, to further developed his knack for research, consultancy and professional banking-education.
Prior to his appointment as substantive Registrar/Chief Executive in March 2015, he had served in notable strategic positions in the Institute of Bankers as acting Registrar/Chief Executive, Group Head/Deputy Director, Directorate of Ethics and Professionalism; Group Head, Directorate of Education; Group Head, Directorate of Consultancy, Training and Research; Zonal Coordinator Abuja Zonal Office (Northern Region).
Dr. Seye, a seasoned Professional Banker, Scholar, Trainer and Consultant has participated in several consulting activities on banking and allied matters locally and internationally including Serving as the Chairman Alliance of African Institutes of Bankers (AAIOB); Team member & consultant, Federal Government of Nigeria/ European Union (FGN/EU) State Economic Empowerment Development Strategy (SEEDS) assessment; the Financial System Strategy 2020 (FSS 2020) Project of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He successfully, coordinated the formation and inauguration of the Global Banking Education Standards Board (GBEStB) as a member of the global taskforce charged with this assignment from Nigeria. He was also elected a member of the Education Committee of the GBEStB. He served as Secretary, Bankers’ Committee Subcommittee on Ethics and Professionalism for the Nigerian Banking industry; He was a member of Bankers’ Committee Subcommittee on Competency Framework and Industry Standards; Member, Board of Governors of Institute of Directors Centre for Corporate Governance (IoDCCG); Member/Vice Coordinator, Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Research andDevelopment Strategic Committee, ICT/Digital Economy Thematic Group; Member, Board of Experts of Research for Impact ‘ Knowledge Economy & Sustainable Development (RIKESD). He is a widely travelled professional who is also happily married.
Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer: Mrs. Adeola Simon, MBA, AM.IoD, FERP, HCIB:
She completed her undergraduate studies at Howard University, Washington DC in 2005 where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) in Biology. After a shift in focus to banking sector, she enhanced her core competencies by completing her Masters in Business Administration at Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, G.A. Her focus was in Organizational Leadership and Management. Mrs. Simon has over 18 years of work experience, of which over 16 years have been in the banking sector (Commercial & Mortgage Bank) within and outside the shores of Nigeria. Mrs. Simon joins Brent Mortgage Bank Limited with a broad range of past experience working at top financial institutions such as Suntrust Bank, J.P Morgan Chase and most recently Bank of America. Until her appointment as Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, she was Executive Director in charge of Credit and Enterprise Risk Management portfolios.

Bola Oyebamiji:
A graduate of Banking and Finance, An experienced Banker and a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Economics of Nigeria. A Chartered Banker and Associate of Institute of Management. He has attended a number of professional courses locally and offshore.
Mrs. Folasade Onyia, FCCA:
She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a BA.(Hons) degree in Economics & Accounting from the University of Leeds. Folasade is an experienced manager with a first-class reputation within the financial services and oil and gas sectors. She has over twenty-five years of experience working in finance in the United Kingdom as well as in Nigeria. She started her career in 1988 at Hugill & Co Chartered Accountants where she trained as an auditor and later worked as a financial analyst first at Hemington Scott Publishing and then at Newton Investment Management, all in the United Kingdom. She returned to Nigeria in 1999 to work as the Financial Controller of Ocean & Oil Services and then moved to Oando Supply & Trading Ltd in 2004 as the Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director Finance. As COO/ED Finance she oversaw the management of the oil trading business processes, its resources, key client relationships, fiscal management and regulatory compliance. Other areas of principal supervision included business performance monitoring, finance/investment management, staff management development and general office administration. She held this position until 2013. Folasade is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Shipshape Cleaners Limited. She is a director of several companies including Farringdon Consultants, a consultancy firm that supports companies in translating their strategic plans into tactical objectives. She is married with two children.
Eniola Obe, HCIB:
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Lagos, and subsequently, an MBA. She has attended many local and foreign courses related to both her areas of specialization and other areas. Her professional affiliations include: Honorary Senior Member (HCIB), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), and Member, Institute of Directors, Nigeria (IoD). Mrs. Obe had an unbroken banking career that spanned over 30 years, covering Retail and Consumer Banking, Public Sector/Government Relations, Private/Personnel Banking, Mortgages, and Products Development, etc. Some of her roles in the banking sector were: Group Head Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Group Head, Education, and Head, Mortgage Banking, at Sterling Bank. She pioneered Education Business in Sterling Bank, and was responsible for developing banking relationships with many schools nationwide. Her experience in retail and consumer banking remains one of her biggest career highlights for which she received several accolades. Mrs. Obe is currently the Chief Consultant of Silstone Financial Services.
Bolanle Christopher Aruna, FCA:
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), and a Fellow Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM). He holds a B.Sc degree in Economics, Lagos State University, and an MBA (Finance) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. Mr. Aruna is a senior-level executive with a strong background in financial reporting, structured finance, project development and banking operations. He has quality years of experience, highly successful and proven abilities in defining company targets, while also proactively developing new business strategies and meeting agreed targets and Key Performance Indices (KPIs). Mr. Aruna is an innovative team leader committed to customer service and staff development. His over 28 years banking experience spanned Mortgage Banking, Credit Prospecting, Deal Structuring and Project Management. As Deputy Managing Director at Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank formerly known as GTHomes, he led the team that grew it customer base exponentially. Mr. Aruna is currently the Managing Director, Oakwood Heights Limited, a real estate company.
