Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer:

Mrs. Adeola Simon

MBA, AM.IoD, FERP, HCIB

Mrs. Simon completed her undergraduate studies at Howard University, Washington DC in 2005 where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honors (magna cum laude) in Biology. After a shift in focus to banking sector, she enhanced her core competencies by completing her Masters in Business Administration at Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, G.A. Her focus was in Organizational Leadership and Management. Mrs. Simon has over 18 years of work experience, of which over 15 years have been in the banking sector (Commercial & Mortgage Banking) within and outside the shores of Nigeria. Mrs. Simon joined Brent Mortgage Bank Limited with a broad range of past experience working at top financial institutions such as Suntrust Bank, J.P Morgan Chase and most recently Bank of America. Prior to her appointment as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, she was the Executive Director in charge of Credit & Enterprise, Risk Management portfolios.

Executive Director, Business Development:

Mr. Adeyemi Bilesanmi

BSc, MBA, FCA, MNIM, ACTI

Mr. Bilesanmi holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, and Advance Management Program (AMP), a certificate degree from Lagos Business School. He is a Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Member, Member, Nigerian Institute of Management, and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He started his banking career with Wema Bank PLC in 1991, where he worked in the branch operations, financial Control, Credits (Retail & Commercial), Risk Management and Business Development departments. He joined Intercontinental Bank PLC in 2004 as Relationship Manager at various branches in Lagos State. He was seconded to the Intercontinental Homes Savings & Loans PLC as Group Head, Banking and Mortgages in charge of Business Development, Treasury and Insurance Departments. He worked at Perabeam Limited as Head, Marketing and Head, Finance & Administration, before his journey with Brent Mortgage Bank Limited.

Group Head, Legal, HR & Admin:

Fatimah Olajumoke Ahmed

Mrs. Fatimah Olajumoke Ahmed’s over 19-year post-call-to-Bar work experience has spanned legal practice at Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, Corporate Consult Partners and J.O. Abass & Co. respectively; and mortgage banking at Brent Mortgage Bank Limited. During her career, she has excellently and effectively deployed her legal expertise, administrative acumen, Human Resources (HR) management capacity, including managing diverse people (employees, Executive Management, Board of Directors, banking regulators, External Auditors and other external parties, etc.); and result-focused negotiation. Among others, Mrs. Ahmed was a focal person in the Bank’s rebranding project that birthed the new Brent Mortgage Bank Limited, and was a critical resource in the Bank’s recapitalization project for a State Primary Mortgage Bank License.

She has several professional certifications, including Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resources and Strategic Management (FCIHRSM), Fellow of Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), (ACIS), Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, CIPM, (ACIPM), Member of Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN); and is currently attending membership certification courses regarding Senior Professional Human Resources International (SPHRI). Mrs. Ahmed earned a law degree (L.L.B.) from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Agbani Campus, Enugu. She has been the Company Secretary/ Group Head, Legal, Human Resources (HR) and Admin departments of the bank since 2010 till date.

Head, Finance & Operations:

Mr. Olanrewaju Andrew Olaniyan

MBA, FCA, FCTI, Cert. IFR, CFAN

Mr. Olaniyan possessed over 20 years’ experience with extensive hands-on involvement in financial reporting, financial modeling, budget & budgetary control, internal control & audit and tax planning/management. He started his career with Afromedia plc in 1999 and rose to the position of Group Head, Audit and Internal control in 2021, having served in various administrative, operational and financial capacities. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Account of Nigeria (ICAN) and also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He is a graduate of Accountancy and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Financial Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. He is International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) certified and also a certified Forensic Accountant of Nigeria and a registered member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN)

Head, Internal Audit & Compliance:

Bayo Kareem

BSc, MBA, FCA, ACTI, FIMC.

Mr. Kareem graduated from the prestigious University of Lagos with BSc. Accounting in 1997. He also obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Federal University of Technology, Akure in 2005. He qualified as Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2006. He is presently a Fellow Member of the Institute. He obtained his Certificate as Chartered Tax Practitioner in May, 2012 from The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and is an Associate Member of the Institute. Bayo Kareem’s work experience spans through the financial sector when he joined the service of Wema Bank Plc in 1990 and left the Bank in 2006 as a Senior Officer. He joined the service of Brent Mortgage Bank Limited in September 2010 as the Head of Internal Audit and Compliance. Bayo Kareem is a registered member of Financial Reporting Council with membership number FRC/2013/ICAN/00000003892.

Head, Real Estate & Property Investment:

ESV. Tunde Yakub

HND, PGD, (ANIVS, RSV).

Tunde Yakubu holds a H.N.D in Estate Management from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos State and a Postgraduate Diploma in Estate Management from Federal University of Technology Akure, Ondo State completed in 2013. He was elected as an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers in February 2013. He is also an Associate Member of the Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers. He also holds an Advanced Certificate in Project Management at University of Lagos. He started his professional career with Tunde Salau and Co. and later worked with Oladeinde Olajide & Associates, Adefila & partners and Laide Osikoya & Associates. He joined the service of Brent Mortgage Bank Limited in May 2018, as Head of Real Estate and Property Investment (REPI) department. Tunde Yakubu is a registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer with membership number A3797.
